supporting veterinary mental health

Reviving Veterinary Medicine

Reviving Veterinary Medicine, founded by Dr. Marie Holowaychuk, is a global wellbeing initiative dedicated to improving the mental health of veterinary professionals through evidence-based resources, programs, and content. by addressing burnout, communication challenges, and workplace culture, we help individuals and teams create more sustainable and fulfilling careers. we envision a profession where every veterinary professional can truly thrive.

Funds allocated to Reviving Vet Med will go towards these initiatives:

Reviving Vet Med Wellbeing Access Fund

the Reviving Vet Med Wellbeing Access Fund provides subsidized access to our evidence-based programs for veterinary professionals facing burnout, communication challenges, or workplace
wellbeing struggles, and financial barriers. by supporting this fund, you help ensure that every member of the veterinary community has the
opportunity to restore balance, build resilience, and thrive in their career.

Critical Incident Debriefing Support Fund

the Critical Incident Debriefing Support Fund provides subsidized access to facilitated debriefings for veterinary teams following traumatic or high-stress clinical events. by supporting these
sessions, you help teams process difficult experiences safely, strengthen collective resilience, and foster a healthier workplace culture.

you don't have to navigate this profession alone.

your wellbeing deserves the same proactive care you give your patients. reach out early, reach out often — and be as gentle with yourself as you are with them.
